EADS, the giant in the European aerospace industry, is planning to go in the space tourism business. It will take its passengers on a sub-orbital path. It is building a space plan for the said journey. People who can pay its fees, will be able to take the ride. The path through which it will travel will be almost 100 km above the planet. Total time of the journey will be one and a half hour.

The journey is costly. Tickets are going to be upto 200, 000 euros (£135,000). So if you can afford that, you can become a space traveler too. But the project will take some time and it will be ready in 2012.

“We believe it is the will of human beings to visit space and we have to give them the possibility to do that,” CEO of division heading this project, Francois Auque said. He also said - “Astrium is by far the largest space company in Europe, so we are very knowledgeable in all these matters. We believe our concept is extremely safe, extremely comfortable and cost effective’.

EADS Astrium is the company which builds the Ariane rocket. This rocket is used for launching commercial satellites. The front end of the probable vehicle was unveiled in Paris.

The vehicle will have two types of engines - jet engine and rocket engine. Upto 12 km height the jet engine will work and then the rocket engine will take it up to its orbit. This will take lesser time as the rocket engine is strong enough to carry it fast. At the time of landing using thrusters to control altitude and jet engine to land, the vehicle will return to the airport.

Four persons can travel together in a vehicle. The passengers will experience free floating in the travel for some time.

The project will cost Astrium about a billion euros. It is so looking for financial partners for this project. The project development works starts in 2008.

At the same time other players are targeting space tourism. Richard Branson of Virgin Atlantic has also announced about his space tourism plan.

In the first production Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are going to display their talent. It is a movie titled ‘Roadside Romeo’. This is a story of a spoilt dog abandoned in Mumbai streets. This movie will be released next year.

Yash Chopra of Yash Raj Films says that it will include Bollywwod style. This movie will have songs, dance, romance, comedy all in bollywood style.

There will be one movie each year. The emphasis will be on Indian culture.

Jamaican police have said in a report that then Pakistan Coach Bob Woolmer’s death was due to natural causes. Earlier the same department said it to be a case of murder.
Mr. Woolmer was 58 when he died during the last World Cup. He was found unconscious in his hotel room allotted to him in Kingston, where the Pakistan team arrived for their match. The incident took place after the defeat of Pakistan against Ireland.
Because of the list of events it was suspected to be a case of murder. The pathologist report also said Woolmer was strangled. Pakistani player were also inquired about the death.
Now Jamaican police says that no poison was found in the tests carried out. The Police commissioner says the previous pathological report was wrong.
‘My sons and I are relieved to be officially informed that Bob died of natural causes and that no foul play is suspected in his death’ says Gill Woolmer, widow of Bob Woolmer.
“The police have now closed the investigation into the death of Bob Woolmer,” Jamaican Police Commissioner Lucius Thomas said.
The matter was intensified by the activities of police and the close circuit camera footages. The death was speculated to be a murder by different quarters because of the defeat in the Pakistan Ireland match as well as the internal problems between the coach and the players. Involvement of Pakistani players was suspected in the death.
Former Pakistan Captain Imran Khan is not happy with the Jamaican Police. He demanded an apology for the humiliation caused by the controversy to Pakistan.

Giant automobile company Ford has decided to sell three of the very popular cars of its kitty- Marques, Jaguar and Land Rover, according to BBC. BBC reported to find that Ford told few politicians about the move which is yet to be announced.

This measure comes as the giant is cutting cots very aggressively. According to BBC business editor Robert Peston Ford disclosed this information to some MPs.

In last March Ford sold Aston Martin, a sports car firm. The deal got Ford $924 million.

Private equity firms are expected to cash on this opportunity.

This move is the result of the restructuring that is taking place in Ford. Ford is making losses and to offset the losses it is on restructuring mode right now. Ford has faced a loss of $282 million for the first quarter of this year. Though the loss is lesser than the last year for the same period, but this loss has made changes on its policy and act. It may try to shed it off with separating non performing firms, cars and models.

Due to competition, it is losing market and profit. Asian manufacturers are offering tough competition to this automobile behemoth. Other manufacturers are making better cars which are fuel efficient. They are doing better than the ford cars.

Ford acquired both Land Rover and jaguar. It got Jaguar in 1989 and Land Rover in 2000 in its kitty. Both of these are not performing well. So they may also end of being sold to others.

Ocean’s 13 whose star cast includes some of the most adored, sexy, handsome men, is creating a big news in the US. It is the most popular movie right now in the North America. It has gained the first position beating Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. It grossed $37.1m (£18.9m) in the weekend.

Box office performance is very good even after stiff competition from other movies like Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End, Shrek etc. The first weekedn collection was lesser than the Ocean’s Twelve but it is gaining speed at this moment.

Ocean’s 13 is directed by Steven Soderbergh. It includes stars like George Clooney and Brad Pitt. If you are a passionate fan of old stars and you liked Godfather then there is a great news for you. Al Pacino is also in the movie.

Ocean’s 13 is the 3rd sequel in the series. In 2001 Oceans’ Eleven and in 2004 Ocean’s Twelve came into the theaters. Ocean’s Eleven was the starting movie of the series which was a remake of the 1960 Rat Pack. Ocean’s 13 was released on June 8, 2007. In the Middle East it was released on June 6. It was premiered on May24, 2007 at the Cannes Film Festival.

The shooting took place in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The story is about the revenge of the team for their friend. Thw whole taem is fighting for revenge against hotel tycoon Willie Bank.
